On December 4, students at McKinley got to meet author and illustrator Raul the Third! He spoke to students in grades 3-5 about his life, his journey as a reader and artist, and his award-winning books. He also did some drawing and shared some art from his upcoming projects. Students welcomed him with some artwork of their own, inspired by his series Vamos!

5th grade students recently completed a project where they created balloon floats. Watch out Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade!

This week schools nationwide celebrate National School Psychology Week to highlight the critical work school psychologists do to help students thrive. This is a time to recognize and show appreciation for our school psychologists, who support students' learning and mental and behavioral health, promote positive and inclusive school climates, serve on school safety and crisis teams, and collaborate with families, teachers, and administrators to improve student outcomes. #ASDProud #OneASD #SchoolPsychWeek
