We'd like to take a moment to highlight the outstanding performance of our 4th and 5th grade students during the annual Elementary Track Meet. They truly showcased their athletic skills, resilience, and, most importantly, their sportsmanship. It was wonderful to see them encouraging and cheering for one another throughout the event.

Congratulations to all of our athletes who competed at today's annual Elementary Track Meet at Schwarzman Stadium! This event serves as another opportunity for our 4th and 5th graders to gather with their peers from the other elementary schools before they transition to the Middle School, all while engaging in a day of friendly competition.

Today was the first meeting of the school year for the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council, in which two representatives from each school routinely meet with Dr. Fecher and Dr. Melchor to share their thoughts and experiences from across the district. Dr. Fecher also gave the students an assignment to go to their peers and ask for any feedback that should be brought to the next council meeting. #ASDProud
BMX Bullying Prevention Assembly was last Friday. The assembly featured high‑energy BMX bike stunts, which immediately captured student attention and created a fun, memorable experience.

The Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is open to all parents/guardians of students with IEPs or 504 plans in ASD. Meetings are held at 6 p.m. in the Copper Beech Library on October 6, November 3, January 12 and April 13.
