This morning, STRIVE and ACTIVE Academy students brought their holiday pop-up shop to the admin building again this year. In addition to their coffee cart, ACTIVE students had holiday decor and housewares for staff to peruse, while the STRIVE students expanded their greeting card and gift tag offerings to include handmade soaps, decorative tea towels, and tote bags! Yesterday was the first meeting of the 2023-2024 school year for the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council. Two student representatives from each school met with Dr. Fecher and Dr. Melchor to provide feedback from their respective buildings. #ASDProud

Yesterday, @abingtonsrhigh commemorated the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht with a visit from Holocaust survivor Pete Stern, on behalf of the Holocaust Awareness Museum and Education Center (HAMEC). Mr. Stern spoke with students enrolled in the high school's Holocaust, Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity classes.
