We are saddened to share that this weekend, Abington Senior High School Assistant Boys Basketball Coach Howard Burrell lost his home and all of his possessions in an overnight fire. Thankfully, his family escaped without injuries.

Overlook Elementary School's Anti-Bullying Committee closed out the month of November and the "Responsibility" character theme pledge by creating a No Place for Hate collage in their school to display how they can be an ally to peers. Thank you to the Administration Building staff, who collected more than 90 lbs. of fresh produce this week to donate to the Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry, in partnership with the Abington Senior High School Fruit Ninjas! The students visited the Admin Building before dismissal today to collect and weigh the donations before loading them up for transport. #ASDProud #ASDServiceLearning #OneASD

9th grader Ben Biko worked with the 2nd Alarmers Rescue Squad on his Eagle Scout project, developing a trauma kit to treat victims of a traumatic wound until paramedics arrive. Through fundraising efforts, he was able to create 38 kits, with training sessions provided! #ASDProud





First graders at Roslyn Elementary celebrated their 50th day of school with a Sock-Hop-themed day! They held a canned food drive to see which class could collect 50 cans, and each class surpassed their goal, collecting over 150 cans to donate to the local food pantry! #ASDProud
