The ASHS Quilting Club dedicated countless hours throughout the year to create quilts for the Asplundh Cancer Center. Denise Young, MS, LCSW, was delighted to receive the donation on behalf of the center. We look forward to seeing what they create next year! #ASDProud #ASDServiceLearning

Approximately 150 ASHS students participated in the Philadelphia Museum of Art's Teen Art Exhibition, "A Future of Artists," now on display! Their work, which included character designs and landscapes, joined an exhibit of over 600 postcards from area high school students as part of the museum's recognition of the Semiquincentennial. The exhibit aims to make local teen artists feel like they're part of the story of American Art. #ASDCelebratesTheUSA #ArtsinASD

COMMENCEMENT SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT!
Commencement for the Class of 2026 will proceed as planned, starting tonight at 6 p.m.
There has been a slight change to the procession schedule, which will now begin at 5:15 p.m., rather than 5:45 p.m. Graduates should still plan to arrive to the Abington Senior High School Auditorium at 4:30 p.m.
We look forward to celebrating our Class of 2026 and this significant academic milestone tonight!

It was a walk down memory lane today for our Class of 2026 as they participated in the annual Grad Walk celebration at all seven elementary schools and Abington Middle School! #ASDProud #ASHS2026

ASHS students Gavin Arch, Gianna Specht, Micah Ufberg, Connor Le, Alexander Hillard and Alejandro Nicasio, along with students from eight other Montgomery County schools participating in the MCIU's Voices for Education, went to Harrisburg to lobby for more state funding for mental health supports, such as guidance counselors, teacher training and guest speakers. They visited and shared their thoughts with State Representatives Nancy Guenst and Ben Sanchez, as well as a representative from Senator Art Haywood's office. #ASDProud
