The project helped students better understand using maps and identifying countries, states, continents, and their own place on the map! On Friday night, Abington School District hosted the first-ever regional elementary Best Buddies event at Abington Senior High School. The event, to which Best Buddies chapters from across the region were invited, featured face-painting, a photo booth, sensory and coloring stations, a yoga session, and dancing for families in attendance.
