This week, secondary schools participated in Red Ribbon Week, a nationally recognized initiative promoting the choice to live a drug- and alcohol-free life. This year’s theme is “Life is a Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free.” Activities began on Monday, with students encouraged to wear red to demonstrate their commitment to making healthy choices and valuing their wellbeing, community, and future. Throughout the week, daily announcements at both secondary buildings highlighted the purpose of Red Ribbon Week, and included strategies for maintaining a safe, healthy, and drug-free lifestyle.

At the Middle School, the celebration included themed spirit days and a special Advisory activity in which students discussed their reasons for remaining drug-free. Featured spirit days included Twin Day and Color Your Life Drug Free Day.

At the Senior High, the AEVIDUM Club planted red tulip bulbs on campus during Lunch & Learn.
