Our monthly assembly was filled with surprises! On top of the announcement of our student-of-the-month winners and raffle winners, Rydal's Boosterthon reward took place. Because we surpassed our goal, the top earners from each class got to silly string Dr. Morgan, Ms. Corbett, and Dr. Watkins! The whole school cheered and celebrated the fun!

Parker "Basketball" Jones brought lots of energy to Rydal! The whole school was involved as we fine-tuned our listening skills, practiced taking our time, and learned that practice and failure are essential in getting better at something. We had so much fun learning that it's okay to make mistakes because we may not know how to do something...YET.

Just in time for Read Across America Week, celebrated March 2-6, 2025, Abington School District Is launching a new poster campaign called “ASD Reads!”, designed to promote literacy and encourage a love of reading among students of all ages. With more than 100 unique designs that will be displayed across the District’s 10 school buildings, bus garage and Administration Building, the poster artwork features staff members districtwide, including teachers, paraprofessionals, administrative assistants, bus drivers, custodians, administrators and more. School directors were also included in the campaign. All of the featured personnel were photographed holding their favorite book so that they can share this personal fun fact about themselves with students. “ASD Reads!” posters will be displayed throughout each school, from libraries and cafeterias, to hallways and classrooms, beginning this week. For more information, and a full album of all the poster designs, visit https://www.abingtonsd.org/article/2043291. #ASDProud #ASDReads #ReadAcrossAmerica
