
Another successful Mentor Club morning!





REMINDER: The Abington School District team of home and school visitors is partnering with High Focus Treatment Centers to bring a Health & Wellness Fair to the Abington School District. This event will run in conjunction with the annual College and Career Fair hosted by the Abington Senior High School Counseling Department on Thursday, March 7, starting at 6 p.m. The Health & Wellness Fair portion will be housed in the library and is open to all ASD families. One of Mrs. Kleban's first graders had a blast working in her REC PAC from explorations! She created a gorilla cage using legos, string, and popsicle sticks! The cage door even opened and shut with a pulley!



Ms. Shore and Mrs. Oman's classes participated in an African-American Read-In to celebrate Black History Month.

Best Buddies were busy making friendship bracelets and valentines for one another at yesterday's hang out!











Due to the inclement weather, all Abington School District schools and offices will be closed today, February 13, 2024. As this is our third emergency closure due to weather, there will be no instruction for students.

Yesterday was National Crossing Guard Appreciation Day! Roslyn Elementary School celebrated with a handmade thank you card for keeping the students safe, which was signed by all of the school's walkers. #ASDProud

What a success our school clothing driving was! As a district, January was our month to focus on the character trait of Helpfulness and look how awesome our school family came together to help those in need! Great job Roslyn Rockets 🚀


Best Buddies has officially begun at Roslyn! The students and staff had so much fun together; we are looking forward to a year of memories and new friendships!






It's National Mentor Month! Our Mentor Club met this morning for some hot chocolate and bingo! What a great time :)







Ms. Shore and Mrs. Oman's classes celebrated this month's Pledge of Character theme: Helpfulness with their buddies. Students had fun decorating "Helpful Bags" to kickoff our school wide service learning project. Donations can be sent in through Feb. 15th where our Sunshine Committee will fill the bags with all the items received and package them to be taken to local charities in need.











REMINDER: The next Arts in ASD parent/guardian group meeting is Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 7pm in the AMS Little Theater. The meeting will focus on the visual arts with a presentation from Dr. Matthew Harris and Ms. Nicole Caracciolo, Curriculum Lead for K-12 Art. #ArtsinASD
