We are proud that all nine Abington School District schools were among the 68 schools statewide to have been recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education for completing last year’s Governor’s Breakfast Challenge! The goal of the challenge was to increase student participation in school breakfast, which is free for all students. Abington’s schools were recognized for our commitment and contribution to child nutrition and the education of students. On a beautiful Friday night, Roslyn Elementary School celebrated its Centennial and 100 years of serving the students of Abington School District! Former teachers and administrators returned to share their memories and were joined by many of their former students. Food trucks and fire trucks also lined the school's parking lot, making the entire evening an enjoyable night out for current students and their families to play games and celebrate with their school community. #ASDProud #OneASD
