
6th grade students enjoyed dancing, games, snacks and time with friends at 6th grade activity night. Thanks to all the PTO parents for supporting this activity by providing snacks and adults to help supervise. AMS WEB leaders also helped out by running some of the game rooms.








The Going Green Club members planted tulip and crocus bulbs that will greet school visitors with a cheerful splash of color when they bloom in the spring. The next meeting is on Thursday Oct 24, in S106. We plan to go outside again weather permitting.



In 6th grade science students learned about the law of conservation of mass. During lab they recorded evidence of the law being followed during the phenomenons of crushing, dissolving, and melting sugar. Of course after the sugar cooled down they enjoyed a sample and learned how sweet science class can be!

Attention all students. Join us for AMS’s first K- Pop club meeting of the school year TODAY in room 334 right after school. If you are interested in meeting other people with similar k-pop interests or are wondering what K-Pop is all about, this is the club for you! 6th grade scientists learned how to analyze changes in the physical properties to determine if a chemical or physical change had taken place in a recent lab.

The students in the Going Green Club got to work cleaning up the AMS gardens at a recent meeting. If you enjoy being outside and learning how to take care of the environment this club is for you!
