Please be advised: Tonight's football game between Abington Senior High School and Cheltenham High School has been suspended and will be resumed at a later date, due to the discovery that a Cheltenham attendee was in possession of a firearm and safety concerns. The individual has been taken into police custody and attendees of the game were instructed to promptly leave the school campus in an abundance of caution. Both football teams were safely dismissed to the locker rooms and the stadium has been cleared safely.

#SummerinASD: Haley and Cole Smith (3rd and 5th graders, Willow Hill Elementary) did a great job pet sitting for family in Florida. They took a side trip to Gatorland where Cole "tamed" a gator!

Mason Growmiller, Copper Beech Elementary 4th grader, along with his sister Gabriella, AMS 7th grader, enjoyed a family trip to the Puerto Rican island of Vieques. #SummerinASD


Auden and Ellis O’Donnell, Copper Beech Elementary 4th and 2nd graders, enjoyed a family road trip this summer. They hiked through Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee, then continued exploring New River Gorge National Park in West Virginia. #SummerinASD



#SummerinASD: Robbie (5th grader) and Xander (1st grader), Roslyn Elementary, saw moose on a Moose Tour while visiting Maine.


Cousins Francis Bratton (2nd grade, Copper Beech) and Will Mairs (3rd grade, Highland) had a great time together at the beach in North Wildwood, NJ! #SummerinASD
