Abington School District schools and offices will be closed Monday, January 26, 2026, due to inclement weather.

Open House at Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) in Willow Grove is Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to see how EASTERN can give students a competitive edge in college or in a specialized career program. At the Open House, parents and students will learn how EASTERN students can earn college credits while still in high school through dual enrollment and articulation agreements. The Open House also offers an opportunity to hear from EASTERN instructors on the hands-on learning environment that complements students’ high school academics. Many special activities in EASTERN’s career programs are scheduled, and college and military representatives will be on site.

Come to Caf C at 7pm on Wednesday night, January 28, to hear Concert Choir members perform at their annual Open Mic Night! Admission is $5, and concessions will be sold. All proceeds will benefit the choir and their upcoming trip. Please support these talented and hardworking students! See you on the 28th! We are #AbingtonProud #ASHSProud #FirstinActivities

Huge thank you to Shere'e Brown, a human resources director at Lincoln Investment, for taking the time to speak to our students. Ms. Brown shared her experience and knowledge of what happens during an interview and gave students an opportunity to learn about how to prepare for one, what to wear, and what to say. She also conducted mock interviews with students. We are so grateful that Ms. Brown was able to share her expertise with our students, and we hope she will be back soon. We are very proud to announce that Abington wrestler Anthony Marzulli is the sixth to be awarded the Craig Phillips White Memorial Award, in memory of Abington wrestler Craig White, Class of 1999, who always worked hard, supported his teammates, and volunteered to give back.
