
All Abington School District schools will open on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, January 17. Students are to report to their bus stops or schools two hours later than their usually scheduled time. The YMCA will not provide morning care.


Abington School District schools and offices will be closed today, January 16, 2024. As a reminder, this first closure will be observed as a traditional emergency closing day for students and staff, which means there will be no instruction.


Overlook students participated in the Martin Luther King Sock Roll Challenge. Students from Kindergarten through 5th grade donated socks, granola bars, & crackers which were rolled & neatly packaged by Overlook's 5th grade Ambassadors. The over 300 sock rolls were then donated to the Giving Tree Foundation who will then provide them to homeless individuals living in Montgomery County.

Overlook Elementary School's Anti-Bullying Committee closed out the month of November and the "Responsibility" character theme pledge by creating a No Place for Hate collage in their school to display how they can be an ally to peers. December's character theme pledge of "Gratitude" starts today with students pledging "to be positive and show gratitude." #ASDProud
