REMINDER: The Abington School District team of home and school visitors is partnering with High Focus Treatment Centers to bring a Health & Wellness Fair to the Abington School District. This event will run in conjunction with the annual College and Career Fair hosted by the Abington Senior High School Counseling Department on Thursday, March 7, starting at 6 p.m. The Health & Wellness Fair portion will be housed in the library and is open to all ASD families. At Copper Beech, the Principal's Anti-Bullying Committee meets once per month. Students from grades three through five participate in this committee, along with the Principal, Assistant Principal, Counselor, and School Psychologist. We work together to encourage desired behavior, brainstorm ways that we can create a positive school experience, and hear our fellow students' voices and ideas with the goal of creating a welcoming school space where all students can feel included and welcome. The students who participate in this committee take anti-bullying very seriously and work to put their ideas into action to make Copper Beech a wonderful place to be!
