This week the 3rd graders at Willow Hill were able to enjoy an in-house field trip with Science Explorers. Students had an opportunity to explore the three states of matter and helped facilitate different chemical reactions with a Science Explorers scientist up close! They also got to make slime, oobleck, 'elephant toothpaste', and other crazy concoctions.

Today, our DARE Program for our 5th Grade Students had a very special visit from Officer Raymond De Los Santos and his talented Bloodhound K9 partner, Moose!
The students learned that Moose isn't just a friendly pup—he is a highly trained professional. The officer explained how Moose uses his incredible sense of smell to track missing people. Moose came to the Abington Police Force from a shelter. How lucky we are to have him in Abington!
