The Walnut Street Theater came to Willow Hill on May 16th to perform the play Charlie the No-Good, Really-Rotten, Cheat-a-saurus Rex by Tommy Jamerson
Students journeyed back in time to encounter Charlie the Cheat-A-Saurus, a dinosaur who
spends all his days playing his Rex-box. When the day of the big test arrives, an
underprepared Charlie must make a big decision: try his best or cheat! Willow Hill enjoyed this follow-up to
The Big Bad Bullysaurus, as it explores honesty, character growth, and friendship.

Attention 5th Grade Families: Due to the forecasted rain for tomorrow, May 14th, a decision has been made to move 5th Grade CommUNITY Day to the scheduled rain date of May 15th. Please plan to have your student arrive at school in their Class T-shirt and sneakers on Thursday instead.
We are keeping an eye on the weather, and if, in consultation with our meteorology service provider, the forecast looks as if we need to reschedule again, we will identify a new date and communicate that information to you tomorrow.

Yesterday was the final meeting for the 2024-2025 school year of the Superintendent's Committee for Positive School Climate and Culture. Thank you to our school teams and community members for dedicating your time to the committee this year!

Just in time for Read Across America Week, celebrated March 2-6, 2025, Abington School District Is launching a new poster campaign called “ASD Reads!”, designed to promote literacy and encourage a love of reading among students of all ages.
With more than 100 unique designs that will be displayed across the District’s 10 school buildings, bus garage and Administration Building, the poster artwork features staff members districtwide, including teachers, paraprofessionals, administrative assistants, bus drivers, custodians, administrators and more. School directors were also included in the campaign. All of the featured personnel were photographed holding their favorite book so that they can share this personal fun fact about themselves with students.
“ASD Reads!” posters will be displayed throughout each school, from libraries and cafeterias, to hallways and classrooms, beginning this week. For more information, and a full album of all the poster designs, visit https://www.abingtonsd.org/article/2043291. #ASDProud #ASDReads #ReadAcrossAmerica
