JAZZ BAND PRETZEL SALE: The ASHS Jazz Band will be selling delicious soft
pretzels after school EVERY Wednesday.  Pretzels are $1.00 and proceeds
support Jazz Band activities.

KEY CLUB:

1) Attention all Key Club board members and officers, both NEW and OLD: our board meeting is Tuesday, 4/22 during Learn 1 in room C140.

 

2) Attention all students: if you are still interested in purchasing the Matchomatics survey results, they have been reduced to $1 to support Key Club scholarships. (If you previously purchased them for $5, those proceeds went towards our Make-A-Wish kid, Joey!) They will be on sale for the rest of the year in Mrs. Peters room, C140.

 

3) There are 2 Key Club service activities this month. The first one is the Copper Beech Science Fair on Thursday, April 10th. Sign-ups are on the Google Classroom or on the calendar. The second one is the For Pete's Sake Walk on Sunday, April 27th. Volunteer information is also posted to the Google Classroom page. Any questions? SENIOR TRIP:  Class of 2025 Senior Trip will be on May 27th to Six Flags Great Adventure.  The cost of the trip is $75 for BOTH the ticket & transportation.  Cash/Check is due by March 28th in C202 or A208.  There are a limited number of spots.  Please check the Class of 2025 Google Classroom for more details.

Elementary Field Day:  Your elementary PE teacher needs help running their annual field day activities.  All students are welcome to sign-up by visiting the service learning opportunities web page.  There, you will find the permission form and sign-up link for each individual school.  Pay attention to conflicts with the AP and Keystone testing schedule to make sure you’re available to help.  Other than that, it’s first come, first served basis and will fill up fast.  Again, event details and sign-up forms are linked on the service learning opportunities page.

Are you interested in chemistry, or learning how new food products are made? If so, there will be a Career Chatter on Friday, April 11th to discuss careers in food science. The speaker is Justin Kukura, a Research and Development director for the Hershey company, who leads teams of food scientists who create new products. PROM DRESS SHOP:  The Class of 2025 will be opening the Prom Dress Shop on Tuesday 4/8 in room C202.  All dresses are $15.  The shop will be open during Lunch & Learn 4/8, 4/10, 4/15, 4/22, and 4/24.  Sign up using the Google Form that can be found in all grade level Google Classrooms.  Stop by room C202 or A208 with any questions.

MILITARY CLUB/Perfect Blend Collaboration:  May 12th thru the 16th the Military Club will be working with the perfect blend. We will be selling All American Root Beer Floats in order to make and donate welcome baskets to incoming military families at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.
