FRESHMAN FORMAL:   Tickets are on sale now for the Freshman Formal. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased by 9th Graders in Room A135 during Lunch and Learn 1 and 2. The last day to purchase tickets is Thursday, February 8, 2024. Outside guest forms are available in the Assistant Principals' Office.

1) Attention all Key Club board members and officers: our February BOARD meetings will take place TODAY, Tuesday, February 6th and Tuesday, February 20th in Room C140 during the first period of Lunch & Learn. 2) Attention all Key Club members: our February MEMBER meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 13th at 2:45pm in Think Tank 2. We will be voting for our officers for the 2024-2025 school year! And speaking of next year, if you are interested in becoming an officer, please check the Key Club Google Classroom page and complete the appropriate Google Form (one is for officers, which we will vote on at the member meeting; and the other is for board members, which will be decided on in March/April). 3) Attention all Key Club members: we have 2 service opportunities for the month of February. The first one is the Kiwanis Valentine's Day Dance on Saturday, February 10th from 1-3pm at Upper Moreland Elementary School. Information is posted to the Key Club Google Classroom page in the calendar. The second one is on-going until the end of March: got any gently used children's books that are taking up space in your house? Donate them to the Book Drive! Five (5) books are equivalent to 1 hour of service. Donations can be dropped off to Mrs. Peters in Room C140 or Miss DeGregorio in Room C120.

UKRAINIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION:  Ukrainian Students Association is holding a humanitarian goods drive from Monday, Feb. 5 through Thursday, Feb. 15; students are encouraged to donate personal care items and new or gently-used clothing and housewares to collection boxes in many social studies and English classrooms. All donated goods will be directed to local charities that assist refugees from Ukraine who are starting new lives and new households in the Abington area. The classroom with the most donations will receive a box of soft pretzels.
