As mentioned in previous communications, we have been in consultation with the Abington Township Police Department regarding ways to enhance safety measures at Abington Senior High School. For all athletic events, the following protocols will be implemented:
As always, we will have Abington Township Police Officers on site, in addition to our School Police Officer and District security guards.
School Police Officers and/or District security guards will be screening all attendees using metal detectors before entry to the Bobby Bryant Athletic Center.
All students must show either an Abington School District-issued ID, or a Visiting team ID. If students do not have an ID, they must show proof of enrollment at either of these two schools.
Students in 8th grade or under must be accompanied by an adult.
No re-entry into the Bobby Bryant Athletic Center will be permitted for any guests, regardless of timing in relation to the game.
No backpacks or large bags will be permitted. Please leave them at home or in your vehicle.
Face coverings will not be permitted, unless for religious or medical purposes. If needed, a medical mask can be provided upon request.
No liquids or bottles will be allowed into the Bobby Bryant Athletic Center. Drinks will be sold at the concession stand.
Tickets are $5 for all spectators.
There will be NO tickets sold after the first quarter of the Varsity Basketball game, or if the game is sold out.
At the conclusion of the game, all spectators MUST leave the premises.
All spectators must park in designated areas.
We thank everyone for their support in following these protocols as we work to ensure a safe event for all attendees. If you have any questions, please contact the Interim Athletic Director, Mr. Charles Grasty, by email or phone (215-884-4700 x2395).
