STUDENT COUNCIL: "Student Council is sponsoring the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. We are collecting canned and boxed goods to benefit families in our Abington community as the holiday season approaches. Collection locations are Ms. Cantwell's room (157), Mr. Mingacci's room (325), and the cart in the front lobby. The collection will run from 10/18 through November 10th. We thank you in advance for your support!"

TADA:

There are still spots remaining to sign up for the TADA Unique Game Show on Friday, November 17th!
Bring in your $7 in an envelope with your FULL NAME & GRADE LEVEL written on the outside of the envelope.
You can drop off the sign-up money in the mail slot to the locked drop box on the TADA Office door (Room 363A) or to Mr. Durand or Ms. O'Connor.  Sign-ups will end by Friday, November 3rd, or when we sell out, whichever happens first!

WRESTLING 7TH & 8Th grades:
Due to a scheduling conflict, the wrestling interest meeting must be moved to Friday, November 3rd. Any 7th or 8th-grade students who would like to join the wrestling team in December should plan to attend an interest meeting after school on Friday, November 3rd in room P102. You should also immediately begin submitting your PIAA health forms on the Planet HS / Big Teams website. Information about this process can be found on the middle school athletics webpage. - Coach Anderson

Reading Olympics is BACK!!!!!!    Do you enjoy reading, meeting new people, and having fun?   If you are interested in joining the Reading Olympics this year, please join the Google Classroom code:  qc2kq47

STUDENTS OF THE MONTH:
6th- Gabriella Lubiski for Student of the Month for advocating for herself. 
7th- Loudemia Durand- "Mia" is a new student to AMS this school and has quickly adjusted to her new school environment. What stands out most is how she has shown kindness to other, more recent, new students helping them to feel welcomed and supported at AMS. We appreciate your kindness!
