STUDENT COUNCIL: "Student Council is sponsoring the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. We are collecting canned and boxed goods to benefit families in our Abington community as the holiday season approaches. Collection locations are Ms. Cantwell's room (157), Mr. Mingacci's room (325), and the cart in the front lobby. The collection will run from 10/18 through November 10th. We thank you in advance for your support!"
WRESTLING TEAM:
Any 7th or 8th grade students who would like to join the wrestling team in December should plan to attend an interest meeting after school on Thursday November 2nd in room P102. You should also immediately begin submitting your PIAA health forms on the Planet HS / Big Teams website. Information about this process can be found on the middle school athletics webpage.
TADA:
There are still spots remaining to sign up for the TADA Unique Game Show on Friday, November 17th!
Bring in your $7 in an envelope with your FULL NAME & GRADE LEVEL written on the outside of the envelope.
You can drop off the sign-up money in the mail slot to the locked drop box on the TADA Office door (Room 363A) or to Mr. Durand or Ms. O'Connor. Sign-ups will end by Friday, November 3rd, or when we sell out, whichever happens first!
BOYS BASKETBALL 8th grade:
"Attention 8th grade boys interested in trying out for the 8th grade basketball team. There will be an information meeting Wednesday after school from 3:15-4:00 in Commons A. Join the Google Classroom using code jpittrr. If you are unable to attend, see Mr. Hinds in Room 125 during Advisory/Workshop or message him in the Google Classroom".
