M4 MEETING

The first M4 meeting of the year will be Thursday October 5 in the Little Theater. M4 is a program for students who want to make modern music. We will be learning guitar, keyboard, drums, and songwriting/composing. Over time you will work with your classmates to form musical groups, and there will be a few performance opportunities throughout the year. M4 is led by Mr. Aguilar and Mr. Longwill.

AMS:

Dismissal and after school activities/sports: At dismissal, all students must travel home. Only students who are on a team or involved in a school activity supervised by a teacher may stay at school. You may not choose to stay at school to watch a game or hang out. If you are not on a team or at a club meeting you may not ride a late bus home. As a middle school student, you must be with a parent or guardian if you are attending any game either at our school or the high school. It is essential that all students on campus after school are with a coach, teacher, or other adult for safety and supervision purposes.

Attention All AMS Musicians: If you are interested in trying out for The A-Town Jazz Band, audition music is now available on our Google Classroom. The Jazz Band Class Code is: 4r4gu3m. Auditions will take place from October 23rd-26th. Any questions, please see Mr. Wetherill in Room M2.

ALL AMS STUDENTS:

IDs - Students should wear their IDs at all times in the building. they should also be available to bus drivers and sub bus drivers if you take the bus. This is a safety item for our school and we need everyone's help. Remember, it is cool to wear your ID!
