Abington School District provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance, prescription drug coverage, dental insurance, vision program, life insurance and long-term disability insurance.  Employees receive a general orientation to the Abington School District upon employment.  A comprehensive employee benefits overview is offered to each employee upon hire or at the conclusion of the probationary period, if applicable.  The Office of Human Resources is available to all employees for continuing support throughout employment.

Transparency in Coverage Machine Readable Files

The Transparency in Coverage (TCR) machine-readable files (MRFs) provision requires health plans and plan sponsors to make in-network and out-of-network machine-readable files available to the public. These files must be opened using a specialized file readers. These files are meant to be used by researchers, government entities, and data aggregators to develop comparative data across health insurance issuers. They are not intended for use by health plan members, employees, or non-technical business users.
