Description:
The mission of Math Olympiad is to expand student interest in mathematics and to engage students in creative problem solving strategies in grades 6 through 8. Students will enhance their abilities to reason, to be logical, to be resourceful, and occasionally to be ingenious. Students will participate in after school practice sessions to prepare for five math contests that are held from mid-November to mid-March. 

*There are limited spots on each grade-level team so membership is by invitation only and is based on:

• Past participation and performance score in Elementary Math Olympiad

• Teacher recommendation
