Description
The goal of the Going Green Club is to raise environmental awareness by informing the school about factors that are harmful to the environment and ways to – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. The club activities include gardening on campus, volunteering at locations such as Briar Bush, upcycled art projects, learning how to care for a garden with campus cleanups, guest speakers, learning more about our watershed and how our locality affects the broader environment, and participating in environmentally friendly events. The club also helps maintain the riparian buffer and participates in periodic water testing with TTF watershed.
